Matt's Wedding
A couple of weeks ago my mom and I flew down to Florida to take part in my cousin Matt's wedding. One of the great parts of the trip was the fact that my sister Abby met us down there. We had a great time trying to pronounce the names of streets (they were all Spanish sounding). Another highlight of the trip was the golf outing the day before the wedding. I don't know when I'll get to play golf with my cousins Matt and Michael again, so I cherished every second of it.
Other than a head cold I have still not gotten rid of the weekend went great!
Cardboard Testimonies
Last week my pastor Tommy called to check on me and we ended up talking about the upcoming Easter Sunday service. They were doing another round of Cardboard Testimonies. After some thought and allot of prayer I decided it was time for me to share my testimony.
The front of my cardboard read "4 Brain Surgeries, Radiation, Currently going through chemo." This was to represent my before and current. The reverse side read "I TRUST JESUS NO MATTER WHAT!" I had to think long and hard about this one but at the end I figured this sums it up the best. No matter what happens here on earth I trust that Jesus has a plan for me.
What's Next?
I'm going to Dallas tomorrow for an MRI and 2 doctors visits. This will be the first true test to see whether or not the radiation worked.
Thanks for all the prayers and support. I'll blog in the next 2 days I PROMISE!
God Bless,
Brian
