I am printing a home and garden magazine. I am looking for a few contract writers that would like to be published. This first magazine will be 16 pages and be advertiser driven. The articles will be written to offer tips to readers based on the advertising content. If there is a tile person advertising who has a few ideas and few writing skills we will turn their ideas into a helpful article and give them and you credit for the article. You will be billed as a contributing editor.
The pay depends on who does the interview with the client and the length of the article. Most articles will be from 300-750 words. Some feature articles will be 1,500 words.
The pay, at this point, will be from $10 to $30 per piece.
As we grow our readership, our advertiser base and select some regular writers we will be able to pay a more competitive wage.
Please send a short sample of your work.
You will receive 5 copies of the magazine and credit for your work. The works will be posted on facebook as well as the printed magazine. This is an opportunity for your work to be published.
