Description:
TheStreetSweeper.org, a well-respected investigative news site focused on exposing risky stocks and financial-related fraud, is seeking a freelance business reporter to summarize outside news stories for its daily “Top 10” list. Initially, the writer will be expected to compose an average of five news summaries (generally ranging from 150 to 250 words apiece) every weekday and will be paid at a rate of $10 per brief. Eventually, if successful, the writer could land more lucrative investigative reporting assignments as well. The ideal candidate should have solid educational and/or professional training in the journalism field and, preferably, some familiarity with the financial arena.
Those interested should first review TheStreetSweeper’s website, particularly the “Top 10” list featured in its “Street Patrol” section, and then send a cover letter and detailed bio to editor@thestreetsweeper.org.
