Freelance job, funny fiction writer, payment: $50-$60 per 600-word story

We are a start up that is almost ready to launch and we need some writers who want to earn a little cash on the side. At this time, we really can only afford to pay about $50 per short 500-600 story. Having said that, this isn't your ordinary writing project and we guarantee you will have a ton of fun writing for us. We have a few different writers right now producing content for us and they all love it. Some have even been willing to take a fee far lower than they normally charge just because they love writing for us (one even claimed this was her dream job!). You're welcome to ask our writers yourself if you want to hear this directly from them.

If you are interested in the opportunity, please submit a short 50-100 word paragraph that is humorous and work in a few blanks in certain places in the paragraph that readers could fill in. Try to place the blanks in places that will elicit the most laughs by people who might fill it out. Be creative with the blanks (i.e. don't just use standard grammar types like nouns, adjectives, etc. for ALL your blanks, perhaps just for one or two and let the other blanks be more creative).



Requirements:



Be able to produce at least 1 revised and polished story per week (we are willing, eager, and able to buy more than 1 from you a week but we ask that you apply only if you can produce at least a minimum of 1 per week for at least the next couple of months)



Be responsive with e-mail communications. We do not like working with people who are impossible to get a hold of.



Our compensation, for now, is $50 per 600-word story. Please do not apply if you hope to get more than that. We would really love to be able to pay more and if this thing takes off we will certainly reward you as best we can because we are very much aware that without awesome dreamers and writers we cannot succeed.



Be willing to work with an editor to revise your stories.



The stories you write for us must be formatted in a particular (but very simple) proprietary way that you will be asked to learn.
