Freelance writing, Get-Tuned.com, pays $20 minimum for well-written articles

We here at Get-Tuned.com want to make the best informative site possible. For us to reach that goal we need your help, you will be fairly compensated of course. We need your help writing articles at Get-tuned. There are so many instruments out there and so many different methods and tips to tune them, that we truly are in over our heads. So we are giving our users the opportunity to help us with the content on our site.

Here are some topics that you may choose to write on.

Tuning Tips for

You may write about essentially anything about getting instruments ready to be played, tuning, cleaning, storing, upkeep, maintenance, humidifiers. We do not want articles on how to play the instruments, Get-Tuned.com is strictly about tuning, prepping, and the upkeep of instruments. There are a plethora of other websites that will teach you the scales and how to play, we are not one of them.

You also may choose to create better article than existing one. For example if you see an article on "How to string a Violin" but you think you could do much better, do it. Just make sure it is better than the exisiting one or we will not use it and you will not get paid.

Pricing

The pricing will be based on 2 things. 1. How useful your article is, and 2. how much time it looked like you spent on it.

If it looks like you spent the last year of your life writing an article on something that isn't useful at all like,... "How to a guitar using the tone that glass bottles produced when blown in, filled with varying amounts of water". If we decide to even use it, you won't get much money, despite all those long nights you spent trying to figure out the correct proportions of water in the bottles. We want useful articles. It doesn't need to be something complicated. For example a useful but fairly simple article could be made on "How to string a ukulele." Also, let's say that you decide to write on a useful topic such as "how to string a ukulele", but you do such a quick and bad job that really no one would be able to string a ukulele using the article you wrote. If that is the case, you will not get paid much if we decide to use it, despite the usefulness of the chosen topic.

So choose a useful topic, and do a good job on it.

Pay Scale

$0-$9: If you send us a blank page, or if it is blatantly obvious you have never touched the instrument you are talking about. If it looks like you didn't spend much time on it, or it isn't really useful. If we can salvage and use anything from your article or if we post it, we will pay you. If we don't use anything, we will not pay you.

$10-$19: If it is a somewhat useful article but looks like you did it really fast, or maybe you didn't use any pictures, etc.

$20-$29: If it is a solid, well written article.

$30-$50: If you do an excellent job, use pictures, it is clear and consice, simple to understand, we will not hesitate to pay you in this range. Idealy, we want every article that is submitted to be in this range. We would be happy if we have to pay $50 each article that comes in, because that means good quality information is being added to the site. Shoot to be in this range.

$50+: If we pay you more than $50, you will need to have surprised us and surpassed our expectations. Also you are going to need to put a lot of work into it. Pictures, Visual Aids, Video, just excellent useful content. But before you spend hours and hours working on it, be sure to get it APPROVED first and tell us how you are going to make it be a $50+ article.

Payment Method

We do not want to make this too complicated. The only way we will send payments is through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account or do not know about PayPal, check out their website http://www.paypal.com - It's free, you just need a bank account or credit/debit card to set it up.
