Freelance writing, topics: business/ finance, pays $0.075 per word

We're looking for a writer with a business and finance background to contribute to several blogs we own.

The ideal candidate will be able to write engaging (and factually correct) articles about a variety of finance topics, including insurance (particularly life and auto), credit cards, savings accounts and CDs, mortgages, and personal finance.

The ability to also write about more general business topics (starting and running a business, entrepreneurship, hiring, managing employees) is a strong plus. Strong web research skills are required.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess a business degree and have some real-world experience in a finance-related field.

Please send us samples of your writing or (preferably) links to articles you've had published online, as well as a summary of your educational and professional background. This is a telecommuting position, so a reliable Internet connection is a must.

Compensation: Payment is in the range of $0.075 per word.
