We are launching a new international investment magazine for readers interested in the themes of money, wealth, financial matters and investment in all of its forms. The magazine is called Your Little Black Book International.
We are taking a rather populist approach and will have one of our professional celebrity interviewers interview a different internationally known celebrity or major personality from the world of business for the cover of each issue – photographs are to be taken by some of the world’s top celebrity magazine cover photographic artists.
The magazine will be published monthly in both print and an animated page turning application for iPad and iPhone available via our subscription Web site. Distribution will also extend to discount magazine subscription Web sites and magazine retail outlets (i.e. newsstands).
We are looking for regular contributors to produce articles in the following areas:

Feature article length would typically be a minimum of 1,000 words.
You would need qualifications in Finance or a related field such as Accounting, Business, Law, Banking, Economics or something similar as well as Journalism, English, Creative Writing or again something similar and comparable to be eligible for this role. You would also need to have previous experience and be able to demonstrate through provision of examples of your work, articles the content of which are about any of the themes discussed in the first paragraph of this job listing.
We are flexible about remuneration arrangements, which may be based either on: fixed rate per word, or; an amount per finished piece, but we prefer to know your rate per word or per 100 words as article lengths may vary. As an indication we are willing to pay between USD 0.50 and USD 1 per word according to our assessment of the quality of the applicant.
We have a regulatory media exemption for providing general financial and investment advice, however we want to refrain from doing so to the greatest extent possible, as the exemption requires that the principal purpose of the publication should not be the provision of advice so there is a fine line there. Essentially, individual securities or classes or kinds of securities may be discussed as long as any reference to them is supported by factual analysis.
