We are having our first short story contest. The winner will receive a grand prize of $50 and their story will be featured on our site this fall. Runner-up prizes may be awarded. There’s no theme and there’s no entry fee. All we ask is that you limit yourself to one submission and to stay under 1500 words.
The Moose & Pussy would retain first-print rights for one year for a potential anthology for winners and runners up. Please don’t feel it necessary to submit a CV of any sort – we just want your sexy stories. No introductions necessary. We just want to get straight to the action. ;-)

We want your er0tica, humour, visual art, poetry, handy how-2-diagrams, limericks, naughty woodcuts, bedtime stories, reviews, unlicensed medical advice, and good ole fashioned gloating.
Particulars
Written submissions — Limit yourself to 2000 words. Attach pieces in individual documents in the following format: Microsoft Word 2003/2004 or earlier (.doc NOT .docx) or Rich Text (.rtf). Double spaced (fiction). Named according to the following convention: lastname_firstname_title.extension (e.g. Hanson-Finger_Jeremy_Saintliness.doc). Please, no simultaneous submissions.

Do not submit poems in a cursive, coloured font, that are centre justified. Do not submit your prose in either Courier or Lucida script fonts. Discipline your first person narrators. As a general rule, if you say you have better s3x than anyone else, you better have hard proof. We’re talking noise complaints and landlord testimonials faxed to our office at the Quickie down the street.
