Freelance writing, website on all things paranormal, pays $20 per article

We are seeking a highly-talented Writer/Journalist for a paying position to write weekly feature articles for our website on the Supernatural, Occult and all things Paranormal.



Our site is not schedule to launch until early next year, but we are hiring and staffing now. You will be able to perform the work in your own home/setting and will communicate via internet for assignments, payment made through the U.S. Mail. The Writer/Journalist we are seeking should have an extensive knowledge of the subject matter (e.g. supernatural and paranormal phenomena, occult, metaphysics, etc.) and experience writing articles for print or digital media and be particularly gifted with researching and constructing feature articles that are both informative, accurate and compelling, with a natural creative ability to add unique personal perspectives to whatever subject is being featured. Additionally, a scientific understanding/background and/or a knowledge of anthropology, psychology and social/cultural sciences would be a huge plus, especially in conveying a better understanding of the "phenomena" being discussed and/or its relevance to any of these disciplines/fields. The hundreds of subject-matters explored will include; haunts, poltergeists, possession, exorcism, black magic and witchcraft, psychic phenomena and parapsychology, reincarnation and out of body experiences, ancient civilizations and mysticism, unexplainable life-forms and creatures, and many, many more.



While we prefer a candidate who has writing experience, if you feel that you are naturally gifted with exceptional writing skills and might qualify for this position, we are open to considering others. You must be able to take instructions and be a FAST-PACED writer to conduct your research and turn-in a completed article in an expeditious timely manner. Your duties would include taking a subject given to you, finding a compelling and unique approach, doing extensive research collecting credible data and information, and then writing a completed feature article that draws-in readers and conveys facts in a captivating, colorful and creative manner. Your salary will be negotiated if we should select you for the position and will be based on your creativity, experience and knowledge. If you feel you have the qualifications to fill this position and are seriously interested, please describe your experience and writing background, detailing why you are the best candidate for the position and include any articles you have previously written. Along with whatever materials you send, please inform us of your knowledge on "supernatural and paranormal phenomena and the occult". If you are being considered for the position, you will be asked to write a sample article (1000+ words) on a subject that we will select and will pay you a small honorarium for this submission ($20+).
