Josiah & Abi

~Photography Series #2~
On Sept. 21st, 2008, I was privileged to assist a photographer friend of mine, Bethany Wissmann, with photographing the beautiful wedding of Josiah Wissmann and Abi Rehm.
Due to not yet owning my own flash at the time, the color on a lot of my photos was not very good. But thankfully I was able to redeem them with the amazing invention called "iPhoto". That is why most of these photos are either black and white, sepia, or antique shaded. It was so fun to learn about the different shadow/highlight/fill-light/fading/brightening techniques that iPhoto has.
The cake was breathtaking. I used the window light for this picture, and the color was so vivid!

When I was looking at these pictures afterwards, I realized that my lens had focused on the bubbles instead of the bride & groom! It wasn't what I was trying for....but it made for an unusual picture!
Congratulations, Josiah & Abi!

(as always, I would welcome comments on favorites of yours!)
