I know it's been a while since my last post. What can I say? I just really haven't felt like complaining to the entire world. My last doctors appointment went relatively well. There doesn't seem to be any growth in the tumor but unfortunately there is still tumor present. I started chemo a week after my doctors visit. I'm taking the drug Temador, which is a pill form of chemo. I'm scheduled to take the pills 5 days out of every 28 days for a year. I'd love to tell you that chemo is "no big deal" however that would be lying. Here's a picture of the lovely pills. 
The main side effect of the drug is nausea. I found out after the first day that they weren't kidding when they said "you may get sick." I talked to Dr. Mickey about when he would preform my next surgery. He feels like it will be a couple more months till that happens. My next doctors appointment is scheduled for next week and I'll be going back to Dallas every month for at least the next year.
On the positive side of things
My new home is coming along pretty quickly. They've started framing and will soon start the brick work. Here's a recent pic.
