Are you ready to pass along your worst nightmares? We hope so! The “Worst Nightmares” Mini Writing Contest officially starts in this thread so feel free to post links to your nightmarish work here.

Mini Contest Guidelines:
* The Story thread will be open from October 13, 2010, until October 27, 2010, 6 pm EST, 11 pm GMT.
* You can submit as many books as you like as long as they are related to the theme, worst nightmares.
* Entries must be original, but they do not have to be written specifically for this mini contest.
* There is no page length requirement in this mini contest, but the book must be related to nightmares.
* The book must have a cover.
* Work that has been entered in other contests (e.g., in the Frightening Fiction contest) will not be accepted and will be removed from the story thread.
* When the story thread is closed, the voting thread will open in the “Into the Darkness” group’s discussion section. Voting will go on from October 28, 2010, until November 4, 2010, 6 pm EST, 11 pm GMT.
* You can only vote once in the Voting thread – to cast your vote, simply post a comment with the book’s title and/or a link to the book.
* The "Into the Darkness" group's moderator, Dalemoses, will be in charge of moderating and monitoring the story and voting thread.
