Free Contest, Humorous Short Story Writing Contest for Teens, prizes: $200 gift cards

Teens! Be like Mark Twain. Write a humorous short story of up to 500 words maximum. Separate categories for 6-8 grade and 9-12 grade. Submissions will be accepted at the Second Floor Service Desk at the Main Library. DEADLINE EXTENDED: 6 pm on Friday, October 29. Winners will be chosen by judges on staff at the Oak Park Public Library and $200 in Gift Card Prizes will be awarded.
