Quotes for Birthday, Friends, and Inspiration are always welcome. Currently we'd also like to see Love, Mother's Day, Father's Day, & Graduation. We invite you to send us your own, original greeting card quotations. Yes, anyone can enter and No, your friends and your Mom can’t send in a text message to vote for your quote.
DEADLINE: May 15th
If your submission arrives after this date, it will be included in the next contest.
Now for some guidelines:
TIPS:
Please browse our web pages to get an idea of the kinds of cards we publish. We attempt to produce cards that are kindly, intelligent, and appreciative Inspirational, but not preachy. Off-beat works for us. We specialize in observations about life & food. Humor can often be the best way to communicate with friends.
PLEASE AVOID
Rhymes, sarcasm, mean jokes, negative comments. Ask yourself: How would I feel if someone sent ME this card? Who would I send this card to?
IMPORTANT
• Quotes should be less than 20 words. The shorter the better.
• All work must be original (by you). Keep a copy of your work.
• Quote should be for the FRONT of the greeting card only. Our cards are blank inside
HOW TO SUBMIT
• Email to: moonsubmissions@gmail.com
• Send your submission in "body of email," and not as an attached file.
• Please separate each quote by lines of blank spaces.
• Include contact information in your email so we are able to contact you. Name, Address, Phone, Fax, email.
IF YOUR QUOTE IS SELECTED, YOU WILL RECEIVE:
1) Payment of $25 (we purchase nonexclusive rights).
2) Twelve greeting cards ($36 value)
3) The winning quotes (cards) will be featured on our website.
4) A list of stores that carry our cards in your home state.
If you do not hear from us, then it is safe to assume that we were not able to use your submission.
