Criteria for entry
(i) The author must be a British subject by birth but not a national of “Eire or any of the British Dominions or Colonies”.
(ii) The author must ordinarily be resident in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland.
(iii) The author must be under the age of 30 at 31 March 2011.
(iv) The work submitted may be a published or unpublished volume of poetry, drama-poems or belles-lettres.
(v) No more than 30 poems should be submitted.
How to enter
Poems should be submitted on numbered sheets of A4 paper with a contents page that states the author’s name.
Submissions of unpublished poems should not be stapled or bound together.
If you would like an acknowledgement and/or the return of your poems please provide stamped addressed envelopes.
