Freelance writing, topic: local stories/ news (Swampscott), pays $40 per story

Reporters wanted for coverage of all things related to Swampscott, including sports, events, schools, music, art, new businesses and issues.
For the most part, you'll be writing features -- entertaining and informing visitors to our new Web site, Swampscott.patch.com. It's slated for launch next month.
I prefer to hire writers from Swampscott, especially those with journalism experience.
Also, I'm seeking columnists to write on topics of interest to people in town.
