Job Description
The company is looking for a freelance writer with mutual fund expertise to write 5-15 articles per week. Compensation is $75-$150 an article based on your funds experience, quality of work and real performance of your writing on our website and with our partners.
Job Info:
Familiarity with capital markets and the world of mutual fund investing is a must, since we will simply e-mail you ideas like “find the top 5 performing Vanguard funds for the quarter” and you’ll have to track down the list and create the article. A few examples of subjects include educational articles for 401k rookies, lists of the best/worst performing funds, and features spotlighting a particular “flavor” of funds. You will get a handful of ideas a week from us, but self-starters are best suited for this job since you get paid by the article – so the more you write, the more you get paid! Also, articles will appear on the website under your byline, as well as in syndication on TheStreet.com, MarketWatch and other investing sites so this is a great opportunity to build clips on top-tier financial outlets.
