Submissions may be any length up to 4,000 words. They will be broken down into 3 categories:
* Flash Fiction and poetry, under 1,000 words.
* Short stories, between 1,000 and 4,000 words.
* Features: these are submissions that will earn front page rights.
* Artworks
Payment:
* Flash Fiction and poetry - $5
* Art - $5
* Short stories - $10
* Features - $20
All works will be submitted via email. Please email the editor: rob@stanleythewhale.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please include the story as a PDF, DOC, or DOCX attachment. Do not paste the submissions into the email, these will be rejected immediately. Other things to include in your submission:
* Story Title
* Word count
* Author's real name
* Author's pen name (if different)
My goal is to send replies and notes back to all submissions. If your submission is accepted, payment information will be discussed. Please have access to Paypal to receive payment.
Other notes:
* StW accepts offbeat fiction. Read a few of the examples currently on the site to get a feel for what I'm looking for.
* Multiple submissions are accepted, but each submission MUST be in a separate email.
