Just in case Santa skips some of the items on your Christmas list this year, we're boosting the prizes for this next contest.
To participate, submit a short story (under 3000 words) in which something or someone is killed—even though they are already dead. You can go the undead beast route, or something more out of the box, it's up to you—but the more creatively you interpret the challenge theme, the better! Check the rules below for submission details.
Entries are due by December 31st, 2010. The first place winner will receive $150 cash via Paypal, and the second place winner will receive $50 cash via Paypal. (If you don't have or don't want a Paypal account, we can't send you the prize!) Good luck!
