Description
Theme Park Tourist is a leading source of news, reviews and money-saving tips for theme parks around the world. In 2011, we plan to expand our coverage with a series of in-depth reviews of new attractions. To help us achieve this, we're looking to recruit enthusiastic, talented writers in the US, Canada, Japan and Europe to review rides and shows for us on a freelance basis.
We are looking for theme park-loving writers who are available to review attractions in their local area during spring and summer 2011. Previous writing experience is strongly preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
During 2011, we'll be looking to cover attraction openings at the parks listed below.
US theme parks: Busch Gardens Tampa, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Discovery Cove, Disney California Adventure, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disneyland, Dollywood, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags New England, Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags St Louis
Canadian theme parks: Canada's Wonderland
Asian theme parks: Tokyo DisneySea, Universal Studios Singapore
European theme parks: Gardaland
DETAILS
In exchange for writing a 1500-2000 word review and providing 10 photographs of the new attraction, we'll cover your expenses for visiting the park (travel, admission and reasonable lunch expenses), and pay a fee in the region of $50-75.
