People with arthritis have a chance to win €2,000 (around £1,724) in an annual Europe-wide essay writing competition.
The Edgar Stene Prize Competition 2011 is taking entries of essays on the theme 'How Exercise Improves my Life with a Rheumatic Disease.'
The competition is being organised by the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR), who represent patient, health professional and scientific societies in Europe.
The winning entrant will also be invited to attend the EULAR Congress held in London in May 2011 (with travel and accommodation paid).
Entrants must be 16 or over. Send entries of no more than two A4 pages to sarahrich@arma.uk.net by 31 December 2010. Find out more about the competition from EULAR
