Paying market, Cordite Poetry Review, pays $60 per poem/ $50-$100 for features

Cordite maintains an anonymous submissions policy for all poetry submissions. This means that the guest editor for each issue does not know the identities of contributors until after the final selections have been made. We regret that we are not able to offer feedback on individual poems.

Simultaneous submissions or previously published material will not be considered. This includes works published in print and web journals but does not apply to material first published on personal blogs.

Cordite accepts submissions from any place on planet earth. Thanks to the generous support of the Australia Council for the Arts we are able to offer payments to our Australian contributors.

FEATURES

Contributions of long articles, essays or interviews should be discussed with the editors before submission. Use our inquiry form.

AUDIO

Audio should be submitted electronically in MP3 format to the general submissions email address (submissions@cordite.org.au), with the word 'Audio' in the subject line.

MULTIMEDIA

Multimedia can be submitted electronically in the following formats:

URL to one of these files

PAYMENT

Thanks to the generous support of the Australia Council for the Arts, we are able to offer the following minimum rates of payment for Australian contributors:

POETRY: $60
REVIEWS: $50
FEATURES: $50-$100
AUDIO: $50
IMAGES: $20
