6. Possibly, in the future, novellas and novels for children and teens.

Payment for first publication rights:

Articles and Stories: $5 to $10 USD
Book Reviews: $5 to $10 USD
Poems: $3 to $5 USD

Payments for previously published manuscripts negotiable.

All payments are delivered via PayPal; you must have a PayPal account to be paid. Contracts are sent out a month in advance of the publication dates, and payments are made within ten days after signed contracts are returned and received.

To submit: Send email to linda-at-literature4kids.com

No attachments please!

Stories and poems: Send your query and submission together in the body of your email. Indicate in your query whether or not your story has been published before, and if so, where. I am looking for stories that do not exist anywhere else on the Internet.

Indicate the word count at the top of your submission.

Articles: Query first.

Include a short bio I can use on the site. If your submission is accepted, a small photo would help too.

I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Submissions should receive a response within two weeks.

If your piece is accepted I reserve the right to lightly edit - usually for punctuation or to eliminate adverbs. More complex grammar/syntax problems may be sent back for revision before acceptance.

My current monthly operating budget is less than $50 so obviously I won't be able to accept everything, but I hope to be able to at least give a personal and helpful response to everyone who submits.
