Free contest, Next Round: Telegraph Travel Just Back Writing Competition, prize: £1,000 (UK)

Your travel writing could earn you £1,000. That's the prize for our Just Back article of the year. The weekly prize is £200 in the currency of your choice from the Post Office. Email your entry of no more than 500 words (with the text in the email itself rather than attached) to justback@telegraph.co.uk by midnight on Wednesday, January 5.

Terms and Conditions

The “Just Back” weekly competitions are open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over except employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited, The Post Office, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with this competition.

Entries should be submitted to either the published postal or email address and include the entrant’s full address and telephone number. All entries must be received by the published closing date to be entered into that week’s competition and entry is restricted to one per person. Late entries will be entered into the following week’s competition. We do not accept email attachments - please send your entry with the text in the email itself rather than attached (deadline is Wednesday for each week the competition runs).

To participate in this competition, entrants must write a feature article on their travel experiences in no more than 500 words. Entries must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that no element of their entry infringes the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entries will be judged on which are the most original, interesting and entertaining.
