Los Angeles-based Internet Brands, Inc. is currently seeking a freelance registered dietitian or nutritionist to join our content writing team at FitDay.
FitDay - (www.fitday.com) – is a free online fitness journal and calorie counter with more than 2 million registered users that helps dieters and fitness enthusiasts achieve and maintain their fitness goals. This website is food science oriented. It provides nutrition information and lets the user decide what’s best for them.
Responsibilities:
Write regular articles about the health and fitness sector as it relates to the FitDay user.
Qualifications:
* Registered Dietitian (RD) or Nutritionist certification – required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Food and/or Nutritional Science - highly preferred.
* Previous experience writing for health/fitness or medical publications – highly preferred.
* Passion for the area of health & fitness is helpful.

This is a 100% freelance, telecommuting position. Write what you want, when you want, wherever you want. Assignments, writings, editing, and submissions are all handled through our online system. All you need is a computer, internet access, and the ability to deliver clean, concise copies on a variety of health-related subjects.
For reference: Rates vary from $4 and up; based on article type, length, and subject matter. The compensation is a flat rate per article with a word range that may differ with each content order. Long articles, which are 400-600 words will be paid $10. Short and medium length articles (150-250 words) will be paid $4.
