Freelance writing, SEO and web design firm, pays $12 per article (LA - telecommute)

We are a fast-growing, SEO and Web Design firm located in Venice Beach. We are looking to hire a part-time copywriter to write original content for our client’s websites, along with occasional reviews and blogposts.

Our client base ranges from professional service providers such as lawyers and dentists to swimsuit and automotive retailers. Therefore, we need someone who is good at research and has the ability to write very professional copy on a variety of subjects with no grammatical errors (of course)!

The ideal candidate for this position will have a social science background (preferably in Marketing), and have a basic understanding of SEO and online marketing. They will also be responsible, self-motivated and well organized.

While this is a work from home position, we would like to meet in person once per week until we have completed some basic training and developed a solid relationship with our new copy writer. Later, we anticipate the in-person meetings will subside to once per month, or possibly be conducted via telephone.

The expected work load will be 20-30 (500 word) articles to be written each week. We anticipate that the articles will take an hour or less to produce (hence this is a part-time job requiring 20-30 hours of work per week). We will pay $12 per article upon review and approval of your work at the end of every week.

We will offer bonuses for exceptional work and dedication.
