Do you know the difference between discrete and discreet? Do you have SEO writing experience? Can you meet every deadline you're given and write flawless copy?
If so, your skills are needed. Most of the work will consist of 300-500 word SEO articles, press releases and blog copy, but the work is diverse (you may be writing about real estate one day and sex toys the next). Occasionally, fun projects come along and there are Cracked.com-esque articles to be written. Most of the work pays $12 per 300+ word SEO article/blog, $20-$25 per PR or 3-6 cents per word, depending on the client, and there's an endless supply of work for the right person.
To apply, write a cover letter detailing your experience and why you think you'd be a good fit for this sweet 1099 position. We don't care about resumes and we won't open any attachments, so make sure your cover letter kicks (at least a little) ass. Also, we're the type of editors people have nightmares about -- if you're not a solid writer, please don't waste our time. English must be your first language and bonus points points will be awarded to those who use Gchat.
