THE PRIZES:

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive: $100.00 (CAD), goody bag from our sponsors (including books, cosmetics, DVDs and more), and your story published on our website

One (1) Second Prize Winner will receive: $50.00 (CAD), sponsor goody bag, and your story published on our website

One (1) Third Prize Winner will receive: $25.00 (CAD), sponsor goody bag, and your story published on our website

Contest is open to U.S. and Canadian residents, ages 13 - 19. Only one entry per person is allowed.

Entry Deadline: June 3, 2011 @ 11:59 pm EDT

STORY GUIDELINES:

Myjellybean.com will only consider original fiction (not previously published), written by teens ages 13 - 19.

Length: Stories may be up to 2,500 words maximum. (There will be NO exceptions!)

Subject: Stories of all genres will be accepted (drama, fantasy, romance, sci-fi, etc).

Judging: Stories will be judged for style, originality, plot, character development, grammar and spelling (use your spell checker!).

Format: Stories must be typed and double-spaced, and include a cover page with the story title and author's name. Acceptable formats - MS Word or plain text formats ONLY (no WordPerfect or other programs).

Submitted stories will NOT be returned. (Be sure to keep a copy of your story!)

Only one entry per person is allowed.

Entry in the contest constitutes permission to use the submitted stories and the name and identity of the contest participant on the Myjellybean.com Web site.

Winners will be announced on the Myjellybean.com Web site on June 24, 2011.
