Paying market, Read Fiction, pays £40-50 for short stories/ up to £20 for poems

We invite submissions for the following categories:

SHORT STORIES

2000-2500 words

Payment upon publication £40-50

FLASH FICTION

500-2000 words

Payment upon publication £10-40

VERSE

Up to 40 lines

Payment upon publication of up to £20

All payments are pro rata

MATERIAL

All we ask is that the work comes to us in a .doc format and that it is fully edited (we are not able to offer proof reading at this stage) And although we do not want to cramp creative style, we request that the subject matter and language should be suitable for general release.

All rights remain with the author

DEADLINE

The closing date for submissions into the first edition of READ FICTION is Tuesday 31st May

ELIGIBILITY

We welcome pieces from all Authors, wherever they may be.

EXCERPTS

Short extracts of submitted work can be profiled on the site, with the authors permission, but this does not guarantee publication.
