Freelance job, journalist for LatinoRebels.com to cover upcoming event, payment: $75 (Jamaica Plain)

Latino Rebels, a new journalism site that covers Latino issues in the United States, is looking for a freelance blogger journalist to report, videotape, and record the upcoming Whole Foods Town Hall Meeting next Thursday June 2 in Jamaica Plain. The candidate must have solid blogging and journalism experience, and also be able to video the event with a Flip camera or other device. Photos will also be needed. The candidate will also file a two articles: one 600-word blog with video the night of the 2nd and a follow-up on July 3. The final blogs will apear on both the Latino Rebels website (latinorebels.com) and the Franky Benítez site (juliorvarela.com).

Being bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge plus.

Serious candidates only. This is a freelance agreement and will not constitute an employment arrangement between Latino Rebels, LLC and the individual. Individual will submit an invoice of work and payment will be made in 30 days.
