Freelance writing, online deal website, pays $15 per deal write-up

Do you have a way with words? Can you keep things short n’ sweet? Can you make an oil change sound so exciting that even a person without a car would want to buy one? Do you have at least one year of professional copywriting experience?

But first, let us introduce ourselves. We’re an online company with a website similar to the daily deal sites you’re probably familiar with, but with a twist: We don’t feature one deal a day – instead, we’ve got hundreds of deals on the site at all times, so consumers can save on the things they really want. We’re new, and we’re growing fast! We’ve got a full-time, in-house copywriter right now, but we've got more work than just one person can handle. We’re looking for a part-time freelance copywriter to help write the deals on our site – which can cover anything from facials to restaurants to window washing.

The job: Make each deal sound interesting and appealing - something our customers would want to buy. Besides just writing your fabulous copy, you need to do a little research on each business using their website, customer reviews, articles written about them, etc. The accuracy of this research is just as important as your creative copy. This is a freelance, work-from-home position.

The pay: You’ll get $15 for every approved deal write-up (all of which have to be 1,000 characters or less). At first, there will be plenty of work to keep you as busy as you want, since we’re re-writing some old deals. After that, the work will be steady, but much lighter – and after that, as we continue to grow, it will start to pick up again. You can do as many as you want each day, but must complete at least four.
