Weekply newspaper serving the San Diego gay and lesbian community is looking for experienced journalists to write news, interview, feature, politcal and entertainment stories. We're looking for a few writers that can contribute on a regular basis.
Most stories will be assigned by the editorial staff, but we also encourage story ideas. Must adhere to AP Style. Completed stories range from 300-500 words for a news story, 500-1,000 words for a feature or entertainment story, to 1,500 words for an interview or cover story. Quick turn-arounds may be required to meet weekly deadlines.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are looking for reporters that can write news-style stories. We are not looking for bloggers, commentaries, editorials or columnists.
