Freelance job, writer for motocross racing documentary, payment: $750-$1,000 per episode (LA)

The show: A 12 race series that cover the AMA Motocross Championship races. We follow an elite set of athletes as they train, travel and race towards a championship title.

What we're looking for: We're looking for a writer who can come in and enhance the VO for each episode. You would be working closely with the Director to come up with dynamic and exciting VO on 12, 22 minute episodes. In the past this process takes about one full day of work. Experience writing for television or specialized magazines (rollingstone or Spin) is a plus.

We are a really small production company based in Santa Monica, CA. This person must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to come into the office for these collaborative writing sessions with the director.
