8-10 experienced sports writers are needed, starting in mid-August, for a new professional high school sports media network - www.archivemovienetwork.com
THE ASSIGNMENTS
- You are writing an article from one team's perspective
- We will provide a list of teams covered to match your geographic location
- Become aware of high school sports teams and the outlook for each team prior to the season
- Attend both home and away games 30 minutes before start
- Watch the game and make detailed notes
- After the game do extensive interviews with players and coaches
- Complete an extensive article about the game with a linear timeline
- Integrate quotes into the timeline
- Complete a comprehensive article
- 1000-2000 word count per article
- 2 day deadline
We are looking for 5-10 writers to form long term, multi-year relationships. This will extend into a variety of sports/school all year. TV show writing long term planned for like minded writers. Job experience covering sports is a requirement.
