Freelance writing, club-culture/ music scene website, pays $25-$50 per blog post (Canada/ USA)

We're looking for some blog writers to write short, interesting, creative, original, culturally relevant, hip and funny blog postings for a website on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. You will be responsible for your own column, creating ideas for it and managing it. As for content, we are looking for writing and content styles similar to VICE Magazine.

You will submit your blog idea, our editor will approve the topic, you will write the post 200-1000 words, and submit for review and posting. You will be paid per posting. If things go well with your column and we decide for it to be more than weekly, or bi-weekly, we will work out a salary.

HTML or Wordpress experience a bonus!

Our website is a cool, young, edgy, counter-culture online community, heavily based in club-culture and the music scene. You would be expected to be an active member in it if accepted.
