Freelance writing, ecotourism/ green travel website, pays $10-$15 per article

I’m looking for a few experienced writers with knowledge of the ecotourism/green travel industry. I need a number of original articles written for a new travel website, and will pay $10-$15 per article, depending on the length.

Article length varies from 500 to 800 words. The longer articles are list/top ten posts, so will require a bit more work, hence the extra payment.

Before being accepted for the job you will need to send two samples of recent travel writing content – not necessarily about green travel. If your writing is the level/style I am looking for I will then allocate a few articles to you, with a thorough brief for each article, and relevant links where required.

The successful applicants will have:

- Excellent English grammar, spelling and punctuation
- A knowledge of /or genuine interest in eco travel and ecotourism
- The ability to write informative, well-researched and engaging content, while remaining light-hearted
- Proven travel writing experience

I am initially looking for ten articles to be completed altogether, but plan to commission more work in the near future, so this could become a regular gig for the right writers.
