Freelance writing, New Port Richey community website, pays $12.50-$50 per article

A community news website and online directory in New Port Richey is seeking freelancers.

We're recruiting talented storytellers who can demonstrate a passion for covering the news and interesting people and ideas in New Port Richey and West Pasco.

We're looking for freelancers with an interest in covering police, education, nonprofits, business or arts and entertainment. We're also recruiting columnists, restaurant reviewers, photographers and videographers. Experience in journalism is strongly preferred, but we're happy to accept anyone who has a passion for the subject about which they are writing.

If you live in the Tampa Bay area and possess a collection of published articles, photos or multimedia samples, we're eager to hear from you.

College students and new graduates with experience working for a daily, weekly or college newspaper, magazine, blog or news website are also encouraged to apply.
