Freelance writing, San Diego County club blog, pays $20 per story

Our start-up company is seeking a creative, enthusiastic and experienced writer to create short stories describing some of our club members' experiences and stories. The stories need to be relatable and personal. Each story will be about one page in length. We will need around 40 stories written, which is why we are looking to hire 3 writers for this piece of work. Eventually we will choose one of the writers to stay with our company and daily write comments on blogs and websites.

Compensation will be $20 per story written. The writer who will be chosen to manage our web presence will work as an independent contractor with a compensation which we will discuss upon hire. Applicants must be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Candidates must also have the following qualifications:

• Ability to work independently while keeping deadlines
• Strong storywriting skills
• Ability to write own content
• Experience developing story ideas, while participate in online discussions on blogs and in online forums
• Familiarity with web content and management
