Position Summary:
Our writers' ultimate goal will be providing our audience with unique, informative and engaging content related to the researching and purchasing of business products. Topics will initially cover VoIP phone systems, HD video conferencing products, CRM solutions, Fleet GPS Tracking, Networking and other cutting edge business technologies. This is a freelance position and all the work will be done remotely.
Responsibilities:
Writers will be given access to a web based platform where they can select assignments ranging in length from a 1 page (appx. 300 words) commentary on a press release to an in-depth, technical whitepaper of 2,000+ words. Articles will be given strict deadlines (generally 3-5 days depending on assignment length) and will be submitted to the same platform where an editor will review the article prior to publishing.
Ideal Candidate will have:
* The ability to commit to 5-10 short articles per week
* 2+ years of writing experience
* A degree in journalism, English, communications or related field
* Very strong writing and research skills
* An interest in writing about core B2B products i.e. enterprise software, unified communications, networking equipment, CRM solutions
* Ability to communicate clearly with team members while working remotely
* Proven ability to meet deadlines
This position is more than just creating generic content. We are looking for people who can write well for a business audience and who are interested in having their stories published. Each writer's name and short bio will accompany every article a great way to increase your personal SEO!
Compensation:
Pay wiPay will vary by assignment length, depth of research needed and your caliber of writing: starting at $15 for short press releases and up to $150 for technical whitepapers assigned to our best writers.
