CMSWire (http://www.cmswire.com/) is looking for an intelligent and driven freelance blogger/journalist with 2+ years covering enterprise software, enterprise collaboration, information management and/or web content management topics. You must be able to generate 1-2 articles per day (~400 words each) during every business day, with US national holidays off. If you are capable of generating feature pieces, we strongly encourage this.
IMPORTANT
You must be able to commit to at least 1 article per business day (assume 1.5 hours). If you cannot, please do not respond.
REQUIREMENTS
* Be able to commit to 1-2 articles per day

You should be comfortable talking about 2 or more of these topics:
* Web publishing systems, trends, current news, product releases, etc.
* Web Content Management Systems (technical and marketing topics)
* Web/Customer Experience Management software and concepts
* Enterprise 2.0, enterprise collaboration, social media in the enterprise, etc.
* Enterprise Content Management and Document Management Systems
* Enterprise Compliance and Records Management topics, including legislation like e-Discovery, HIPPA, and Sarbanes Oxley
ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS
* Follow our editorial style guide
* Length: approximately 400 words
* Write smart titles and teasers
* Intelligent internal and external linking to related subject matter
* Be concise, informative, contextual and if possible, witty
COMPENSATION
You will be paid on a per published article basis (typically in the US $35-75 range). The pay rate will based on your experience and the type of content you generate. The rate for feature articles will be negotiated once we have worked together for at least a month. Pay for featured articles is typically in the US $100-300 range.
After 3 months we will ideally move to a monthly base + bonus, where you will have a required number of articles to produce per week and required number of features to produce per month. Bonuses are based on article performance.
