We are seeking ghost writers to help us with the preparation of a private equity and valuation that will be used at prominent local business schools and institutional investors.

Job Description:

We are looking for a ghost writer based in New York City or the surrounding metropolitan area with a strong business writing background (Preference shown to candidates with prior experience in accounting, investment banking and private equity). The candidate would work directly with a graduate school Professor and his Teacher's Assistants to oversee the development of a textbook, which will pull from his prior research and reference guides. The successful candidate would need to be able to skillfully weave together all of the references, notes and presentations (some of which are in bullet point form) to produce a cogent end product, written in a tone and format that would appeal to private equity and investment banking professionals. The pay rate is $35 per page and anticipated page count will be approximately 500. Note significant portions of the page count may be accounted for via content produced by large corporate legal and accounting partners.

Essential Job Functions:

* Strong command of the English language.
* Excellent writing skills.
* Firm understanding of Microsoft Word.
* Ability to operate independently.

Ideal Candidates:

* Accomplished writers with significant experience writing about business and valuation subject matter.
* Former or current equity research analysts with significant experience writing about valuation.
* Ability to weave notes and reference materials together in a manner that produces one cogent end product.
* Experience working in teams.
