“Romance” Free Writing Contest
Celebrate the queen of romance (and satire), Jane Austen, with our special Romance writing contest! The next BookRix writing contest, Romance, starts on Austen’s birthday December 16 and ends January 7.
Let the love shine through your holiday season by writing and submitting a romantic story or poem into this contest! There are no page limits for this contest to hamper your romantic flare.
And our fabulous prizes include: three $300 gift cards to Nordstroms for the first, second and third place winners!

Submission and Community Voting - December 16, 2010, to January 7, 2011
Submit and vote on contest books between December 16 and January 7. Remember: the best way to get people to read your own work is to read and comment on their work.
Wildcard Voting - January 3, 2011, to January 7, 2011, 8 am EST, 1 pm London Time/GMT
Nominate your favorite contest book for special consideration by BookRix staff members. The wildcard voting thread will be opened in the “I love BookRix Writing Contests” group and announced in the BookRix newsletter. The wildcard pick(s) go on with the top ten (as voted by the community) to the independent jury. Stay tuned for more information!
