A highly-reputable science educational company seeks qualified writers to develop textbook content for Grades 1-5. Applicants must have

• excellent writing skills.
• relevant education and experience with a background in science or in teaching.
• experience in instructional item writing.
• proficiency in grammar and punctuation.

Knowledge of correlation to state standards is a plus. Responsibilities will include reviewing, writing, and editing instructional texts; creating graphic organizers to support student responses, selecting artwork for lessons, and adhering to Style Guide for Science Notebook template.

Compensation for developing content for Grades 1-5 is $200 per lesson, with each unit consisting of 16 lessons. All work is done from home and transmitted remotely. Please respond by email with cover letter, resume, and writing sample attached
