WHO ARE WE

We're an events management company based in London that has just launched the articles section of our site. Our portfolio includes an array of events such as festivals, fun days, parties, concerts and carnivals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a volunteer/student writer to help develop articles and content for our site vjem.co.uk. You will be required to write articles on current issues in the events industry. This can be from a technical view, e.g. top ten tips for selecting a caterer, or current topics with an Events/entertainment focus, e.g. behind the scenes at a certain high profile award ceremony.

You can work from your own space as articles can be submitted electronically.

This opportunity is on-going.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Since this is a writing opportunity, you must have excellent written and verbal English and have some writing experience. You should be able to present work in a concise and jovial format … easy to read. This is a great opportunity for someone that either enjoys writing, or wants to develop their craft (work will be edited accordingly). You don't necessarily need events industry knowledge, but must be able to cover a particular topic either of your choice or chosen by us.

PAYMENT

We will pay £20 per published article on a ghost writing basis, which means you write under our brand, or you can choose to have your name credited to the article for no payment.
