Six state publication seeks experienced freelance reporters for its news sections. The ideal candidate possesses a journalism or English degree and professional experience producing source-based news articles. We’re looking for someone who knows how to chase a story and can produce multiple polished articles under tight deadlines.

- Ability to identify, locate and interview sources

- Experience using the Internet for research and fact-checking
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Professional experience working in a daily news cycle is a plus
