Freelance job, business/ accounting writer, payment: $15-$50 per article

Our Santa Monica startup is looking for full-time freelance writers with a strong background in the fields of business, accounting, insurance or law.

Our site caters to small business owners and provides up-to-date, thoughtful, carefully researched analysis of contemporary trends as well as direct, actionable advice and tips. Writers will compose 500-1000 word pieces for a large, mainstream but sophisticated audience of professionals.

Proficiency in writing and grammar, a deep understanding of the Web and online business resources, the ability to follow instructions and a desire to produce high-quality writing under deadlines are a must. Prior experience writing for business publications or websites is a definite plus.

As this is an independent contractor position, hours and overall time commitment are flexible.
