Freelance writing, Moolala.com, pays $24 per copy

Freelance Word Wranglers, Writers and Bloggers

Moolala is looking for word wranglers, writers and bloggers to create and contribute copy to use with our daily deals website and emails.

What does the job entail?

Freelance writers are asked to write copy that compliments each of our daily deals which publish to national and regional audiences. Our tone of voice is a bit quirky, creative and to the point.

How do you know you’re doing a good job?

There is a good part of your writing that will be measured subjectively. Do we find your writing compelling and/or funny? Are you hitting the mark when it comes to telling our audience a story?

More quantifiably we’ll look at 1) how well was your copy well received by our audience measured by number of sales, 2) if it timely 3) if it accurate.

Compensation & Benefits

We pay per piece of copy used on our website. You can submit up to three versions per assignment given. If your copy is selected, you will be compensated $24 per published piece of copy.

We keep a very small, elite group of writers. So don’t worry that your work will get lost in the crowd. We want you feel successful working with us.

This role is a “work at home” gig. You choose when and what you want to write. Of course, the more you contribute, the more we’ll trust you with assignments. The more assignments, the more opportunity you have to earn money. I think that’s called a ‘win-win.’

Requirements

  • You’ll need a unique and strong creative writing style.
  • Be grammatically strong and consistent.
  • Have your own computer and Internet access.

Before you apply:

1. Have a URL available that directs us to a piece of copy you’ve written online.
2. Have your writing portfolio ready.
3. Be ready to knock our socks off with your cover letter. (Yes, we actually read them)
