Freelance job, humorous "top 10 list" writer, payment: $50 per article

Seeking humor writers to contribute "Top 10 List" style articles for a large shopping site. Articles will focus on specific brands/merchants as well as shopping categories. Past experience writing humor/satire preferred. Writers will be given significant -though not total- editorial freedom as we want to leverage each writer's creativity when possible. Some not-so-funny article examples would be "Top 10 Victoria's Secret Gifts You Don't Want Your Mom to Unwrap in Front of You" or "Top 10 Stupid Things People Can Buy To Go Camping". As I said, these examples aren't very funny but I suspect you get the idea.

This is a contract position. We are paying $50 per article. Rate is not negotiable (sorry).

Who should apply? Creative, humor writers seeking extra cash and a super flexible, part-time gig.

Who should not apply? Writers looking for full-time work or hoping this gig will turn into full-time work. It likely will not. Writers who think $50/per article is not enough and hope that their vast experience and/or incredible talent merits more money. It won't. It's nothing personal nor a referendum on your ability nor the value of writing talent in the market today. It's just what we can afford given our budget and content needs.
