We are seeking a highly-talented Writer/Journalist for our new "Paranormal News Website" to write monthly feature articles on Close Encounters/UFO's/Aliens and Anomalies. Our website venture is till under development and won't be launching until the fall, however we are seeking to fill key writing positions now in anticipation for the launch.
The Writer/Journalist we are seeking should have experience writing articles for print or digital media and be particularly gifted with researching and constructing feature articles that are both informative, accurate and compelling, with a natural creative ability to add unique personal perspectives to whatever subject is being featured. While we prefer a candidate who has writing experience, if you feel that you are naturally gifted with exceptional writing skills and might qualify for this position, we are open to considering others.
If hired, you will be able to perform the work in your own home/setting and will communicate via internet for assignments, payment made through the U.S. Mail. To reiterate, the actual position will not begin until our site is launched, hopefully sometime in the Fall. You must be able to take instructions and be a FAST-PACED writer to conduct your own research and turn-in a completed article in an expeditious timely manner. Your duties would include taking a subject given to you, finding a compelling and unique approach, doing extensive research collecting credible data and information, and then writing a "compelling" completed feature article that draws-in readers and conveys facts in a captivating, colorful and creative manner. Articles will run approximately 1000 words. If you feel you have the qualifications to fill this position and are seriously interested, please respond with a brief response of why you are the best candidate for the position and include any articles you have previously written. Along with whatever materials you send, please inform us whether you are more knowledgeable on Close Encounters/UFO's/Aliens or prefer the subject of general Anomalies. If you are being considered for the position, you will be asked to write a sample article on a subject that we will select and will be paid a small fee for this sample article ($20-$40).
