One Night Only is set to be a collection of short stories focused on one of the most immediate type of er0tic fusion: the one night stand, and those who only have one night to act on their urges.
The window for submissions is unconventionally small. This book is nearly complete. What it needs are a few cherries on top to make it the most siz2ling collection of one-night h0okups to be found in one place.
One Night Only is selected and edited by award-winning Editor Violet Blue (tinynibbles.com, @violetblue). We are looking for fictional stories that seek to push boundaries, present realistic fantasi3s and situations, and break taboos. The s3x acts depicted must be explicit and realistic in detail. A strong focus on character, predicament, and compelling situations is desired — smart, literate er0tic fiction. The desired orientation within the main s3xual element of the stories is primarily heterosexual, yet bis3xuality and lesbian encount3rs are also encouraged. Established authors and newcomers alike (of any gender and orientation) are welcome.
The focus of s3xual activity in submitted stories must be on the immediacy and urgency of the s3x; female pleasure is a required element. A playful, clever approach is welcome, as are intense scenarios. The primary audience is heterosexual couples and heterosexual women.
Violet Blue's er0tic anthologies have won numerous awards, and are very different in tone and style from other er0tica books—please read the free chapters from collections such as Sweet Danger and Sweet Life on Amazon.com.
If there is one word to describe the tone of the book and s3x depicted therein, it is: urgent. People who are so h0t for each other, they need it now. Desired themes include: strangers, couples acting out fantasies, girls on the prowl, role-playscenarios (real or imagined). Above all, include 3xplicit s3x.
What not to send: Dark themes (such as breakup, jealousy, infidelity and death) must be exceptional in content for acceptance and are *least* desired. Cheating stories are least likely to be considered. Do not send sci-fi, poetry or fantasy fiction.

Rules: If you send an attachment, I will delete your email immediately. I am not accepting paper submissions. Only three submissions per author. Word count: 2500 to 4500 words is the desired range. No simultaneous submissions (you will be disqualified with no hesitation if you submit the story to multiple publications), and no reprints. Excerpts from already-published, full-length books will be considered.
Requirements: You must include your name (and pseudonym if you are using one), a short 150-word bio, mailing address and main contact email address with your submission. Payments are made by check or PayPal only; state your preference.
